The Nature of Foaling is my way of giving something
back to the horse community, to use what I’ve learned to help others
with their foaling mares. Video is the perfect medium to illustrate
a process that is difficult to describe with words alone.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
A life-long horse owner, Laurie Thomsen became professionally involved in the horse industry in the 1970’s. A stud manager since 1980, she has had the responsibility of caring for a large number of Arabian horses, including many of the greats in the breed, and the opportunity to work alongside leaders in the equine world. Thomsen is recognized for her knowledge of equine reproduction, health care, and horsemanship.
